We are a Kigali-based agribusiness turning organic waste into affordable, sustainable livestock feed — for farmers, communities, and the planet.
"Waste is only waste if we waste it."EcoFeed Rwanda Mission
EcoFeed Rwanda is a circular economy agribusiness headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, founded to solve two interconnected problems: the rising cost of livestock feed for smallholder farmers, and the growing crisis of organic waste in Rwanda's cities.
We collect organic waste, use it to raise black soldier fly larvae, harvest the protein-rich larvae, and formulate affordable feed for poultry, pigs, and fish. In parallel, we cultivate azolla — a fast-growing aquatic plant providing a sustainable plant-based supplement.
The result: a fully circular system where waste becomes value, farmers become more profitable, and communities become cleaner and more climate-resilient.
Every input has a next life. Every waste stream is a resource waiting to be unlocked.
Everything we build starts with what smallholder farmers need — affordable, reliable, quality feed.
We measure success not just in profit, but in waste diverted, emissions reduced, communities cleaned.
Zero import dependence. Our inputs, production, and impact are all rooted in Rwanda.
BSF protein and azolla are proven, globally validated feed ingredients — applied locally.
Our model is designed to grow — across Rwanda, across East Africa, and beyond.
Farmer, investor, restaurant, cooperative, or climate partner — we're ready to build together.
